The Brass Cats
On 6th December we had a visit from five members of the RTE band. This quintet are commonly known as 'The Brass Cats'. One member is a parent in the school. The instruments they played were the Tuba, Trombone, French horn and two trumpets. It was a lively show with lots of audience participation. We were shown how each instrument is played. The children really enjoyed the show. A far cry from looking at these instruments in books.
