Aistear week 24/2/14

This week, as we continue our 'families' theme, the children are making sand birthday cakes and designing their ideal birthday cake. They are creating their own family crests and enjoying a family outing to the cafe. They are creating a family outing out of lego.

Aistear week 10/2/14

This week the children are taking part in a wedding in the home corner. They are reading and sequencing the story of 'Peace at Last' in construction. They are making a book about baby animals and playing with them in the sand area. They are creating some valentine art masterpieces and building lego houses.

Aistear week 3/2/14

Our bodies: this week the children are bathing babies in the water area. They are going on a family outing in the construction corner and having a birthday party in the home corner. They are building colour families out of lego blocks and creating their family trees.
